Development of drift reduction technologies for the different crop – disease – PPP combinations
Various laboratory measurements and semi-field trials were performed by the University of Torino team, in order to identify the optimal configuration for the OPTIMA vineyard smartsprayer based on a CAFFINI S.P.A. Synthesis sprayer.
Semi-field trials carried out in vineyard aimed at assessing the spray coverage of the target and the amount of spray drift using either the conventional reference sprayer A or the Caffini Synthesis sprayer B, basis for the development of the OPTIMA vineyard smart sprayer, with different configurations of nozzles and air settings.
