Event Date: June 27-29, 2019 The 12th EFITA International Conference will be held in Rhodes island, Greece, on 27-29 June, 2019. EFITA is an International Conference dedicated to the state-of-the-art and future use of ICT in the agri-food sector and bio-resources sectors under the theme: Digitizing Agriculture. The conference is supported by the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment (EFITA) with the collaboration of the World Congress on Computers in Agriculture (WCCA) and the Hellenic Association for Information and Communication Technologies in Agriculture, Food and Environment (HAICTA), and the International Commission of Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering (CIGR) Section VII (Information Technology)
“European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment“. The first EFITA was held in 1997. The conference facilitates participants form over 25 countries worldwide dealing with knowledge sharing and thinking on the future of ICT technologies within the agri-food and bio-resource sectors. EFITA conferences include ICT demonstrations, digital poster presentations, plenary sessions, breakout sessions in various topical areas (e.g. remote sensing, robotics, farm management information systems, data mining and analysis, agri-food and biomass chains, as well as ICT-agri education and professional issues), special sessions and technical tours to exceptional paradigms of ICT applications in real-life primary production.
